Tower of Fantasy

Published globally by Level Infinite and developed by Hotta Studio, Tower of Fantasy is an expansive open-world sci-fi action role-playing game set on the post-apocalyptic alien planet Aida. Following the discovery of a powerful energy source known as Omnium, humanity built the massive Tower of Fantasy. However, Omnium radiation triggered a global catastrophe, mutating ecosystems and forcing survivors into isolated shelters. Players take on the role of a customized Wanderer, navigating futuristic ruins, battling mutated beasts, and uncovering corporate conspiracies.

The defining element of Tower of Fantasy is its real-time action combat system built on fluid weapon swapping and elemental synergies. Rather than collecting separate heroes with static abilities, players pull "Simulacra"—digital representations of legendary heroes tied to specific weapons—via a gacha system. Players equip up to three weapons concurrently (such as dual daggers, scythes, heavy shields, or elemental staffs) and switch between them mid-combo to trigger high-damage Discharge abilities. Strategic depth is further elevated by mechanics like "Phantasia," a time-dilation effect activated by performing a perfect dodge just as an enemy attack lands.

Traversal mechanics in Tower of Fantasy emphasize verticality and exploration freedom. Players explore terrain using double-jumping, wall climbing, jetpacks, cybernetic grappling hooks, fast-moving land vehicles, and watercraft. The game balances single-player story quests with shared-world multiplayer features. Players encounter other adventurers in real-time across the overworld, teaming up organically to conquer massive open-world bosses, complete cooperative dungeon raids, or join player guilds. Furthermore, the game incorporates an industry-leading character creation engine, allowing players to meticulously adjust face geometry, hair gradients, eye patterns, and outfit colors.
