The application uses a dual-connection model to ensure compatibility with both modern smart TVs and older legacy displays. For modern smart TVs, the app relies on local network communication protocols like SSDP or UPnP over WiFi to discover and pair with devices on the same subnet. For older televisions, it utilizes native Infrared (IR) blaster APIs to send standard remote signals directly from compatible smartphones.

The application's interface includes a digital trackpad, virtual keyboard, and dedicated buttons for launching streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube directly from the mobile device. Beyond standard remote functions, Vsray Technology has integrated advanced features such as an in-app "Channel Store" for remote app installation, screen mirroring, and local media casting.

It also includes a "Private Listening" feature, which redirects the television's audio stream directly to the user's mobile device, allowing them to listen through connected headphones without disturbing others.

While the application offers a comprehensive feature set, maintaining compatibility across over 100 TV models presents a continuous software challenge. Because it is an independent, third-party utility, it must regularly adapt to firmware updates from various TV manufacturers to prevent connection issues.

Furthermore, to sustain its free model, the app features frequent, high-frequency advertisements that can sometimes interrupt real-time controls like volume adjustment or typing.
