Suspects: Mystery Mansion

Suspects: Mystery Mansion, developed by Wildlife Studios, is an asymmetrical social deduction action game. Building upon the social deduction foundation popularized by Among Us, Suspects reimagines the formula within an atmospheric murder mystery estate populated by stylized animal characters.

In a typical match, 9 to 10 real players assemble online at a grand mansion. Players are secretly assigned roles at the start of the game: the majority become innocent "Guests," while one or more become hidden "Killers". Guests roam the mansion completing investigative mini-game tasks—such as repairing electrical wiring, sweeping rooms, or organizing books—to fill a collective progression bar. Conversely, Killers blend in with the group, fake tasks, sabotage mansion utilities, and covertly eliminate Guests to stall the investigation.

The game's standout feature is its integrated real-time proximity voice chat. When a dead body is reported or an emergency meeting is called, players enter live audio discussions. Players share alibis, detail their movements across the mansion, point out suspicious behavior, and debate who to vote out. Players who are eliminated continue as ghosts, completing remaining tasks to assist the Guest team without voting.

Visually, Suspects utilizes bright, child-friendly animal avatars featuring oversized heads and distinct expressions, set within detailed mansion maps. Matchmaking accommodates both private lobbies for friends and skill-based public matchmaking. Because the core game relies heavily on real-time voice interactions with strangers, moderation and parental guidance are important factors.
